Apparently, Tinder believes that older users can afford to pay more for a membership. As a matter of fact, $10-15 more a month than younger adults. So the older you are, the better you get? There is no explanation as to why the difference in fees.

Negatives
Unless many of you Plus members travel quite a bit, many of those premium features are not needed.
There is no guarantee of more matches made with a paid membership. This is dependent on what your profile and biography say about you. If you are boring in your profile, no one is going to want to match with you.
Many of us already spend over an hour on the Tinder site already; upgrading to a premium membership will obviously have you on the site even longer because you have unlimited swipes. Talk about becoming a junkie!
If you live outside of the big cities, such as smaller towns and rural areas, it definitely is not worth your money. Matches are made by location also, so a small area equals fewer matches.
