There are many who believe that having an open marriage makes it okay to cheat, as long as the other partner is aware of the action.

They are the type that believe they do what they want, and there is no ramification of their wrong-doings.

It would be hard to remain in a relationship with a narcissist unless you are a giver; someone who likes to be controlled or being hurt does not bother you. Oftentimes it is due to mental abuse, making them believe that no one likes them, that they are not worthy of love, and they do not measure up to what they think they are. So they are terrified to leave and are unable to due to finances.
